I am an Italian documentary photographer and writer based between Brussels and Italy.
My background is in political science and international affairs, and before turning to photography I worked for several years as a researcher between Rome and Brussels. While my early work focused on policy and geopolitical analysis, I gradually became more interested in exploring these subjects through visual storytelling and long-term documentary practice.
My work moves between documentary photography, reporting, and archival research, often focusing on places where political and historical processes leave lasting marks on landscapes and communities. I am interested in slow transformations rather than breaking events, and in the relationship between memory, territory, and everyday life.
My recent projects have explored migrant labour in the pastoral areas of Abruzzo, the environmental legacy of the drainage of Lake Fucino, and the relationship between tourism and militarisation in Ladakh, in northern India.
